40 years ago, when I was 6 years old...

I was saved by Gods Holy grace. Gathered around the kitchen table, a family talk in our first home in British Columbia,1970. I can only give credit to my catholic grandmother for introducing me to the Kingdom of God. That is when, grandma, would fly across the country for a visit, which she did frequently until her passing when I was around 9 or 10. At 10, I went to catholicism classes, where I learned that there was a lot more to Jesus. In my 20's, I took bible study lessons and participated in a home bible study, where I gave the inspirational prayer of salvation, devoted my life to God, ackknowledge and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That family talk, 40 years ago, left me with an inner peace. I may not have fully known it then, that inner peace, I acknowledge as being filled with God's Holy Spirit. That family talk, 40 years ago, was with my dad. He had said to me, "I have two children, and from my two children, I choose my son". "You, can't choose, because you only have one father". I said, " no, I have two fathers. I have you, dad, and I have my father who is in heaven. And from the two, I choose my father in heaven". I can't recall any more to that conversation, but how astute of a 6 year old, and to have remained calm and collected, to such dumb mentality. Today I am a wealthy woman, for surviving, and then some, more dumb mentality.
